March Updates

We are currently preparing for a large moving sale this weekend. Everything not completely essential or small enough to fit into a suitcase will be in the sale. As we watch the house empty out, it's becoming very real that we are about to leave everything and move to Nicaragua.  It's exciting and a little scary. There are a lot of things I thought we NEEDED, but when it comes down to it, they are just things that make us more comfortable. I'm wondering how our family is going to handle life without these comforts-now and once we move.  I know it will be good for us in any case. Please come and check it out Friday and Saturday, April 1 and 2, from 8am-1pm both days.  There will not be price tags on the items, but we will be accepting donations.

We also have a fundraiser next Saturday night at Chik-Fil-A in Kernersville. If you come and eat between 5-8pm, 10% of the proceeds will go towards our start-up costs.

We are hoping to leave by next fall, when the new school season begins at ESVO. It seems a bit impossible, but we know that God likes to make impossible things happen. Our original plan was to leave by next January. We want to be completely ready to grab our suitcases and go as soon as he provides all of the funding.

Thank you all for your friendship and support. I'm getting more and more sentimental when I think about moving away from everyone I love here.
